AntWorks is based on a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle
experiment to study animal life in space and test how ants
successfully tunnel in microgravity. The AntWorks Gel (Non
Toxic) is complete with nutrients to promote healthy
growth in the new colony. You can watch ants live, work
and tunnel in the nutritious and non-toxic gel as they
create series upon series of intricate tunnels. ADDING ANTS Thursday evening the ants were placed in their AntWorks Gel at 7:00 p.m.  By morning they had already started to dig tunnels.  By the afternoon they had created more tunnels and were starting to join tunnels.   The ants have been very busy building tunnels this week-end. We noticed that they tend to stay on the top more than in the tunnels.   The ants continue to be busy all day crawling through their tunnels.   Two Weeks Later Our ants continue to dig tunnels and explore their home.   Three Weeks Later Our ants have been busy running around the tunnels. They seem happy with their home and keep making new tunnels.   |
