Arrival Routine
Upon entering the classroom each student will go to the restroom to wash their hands before breakfast. After washing their hands the students will set up their tables for breakfast by setting out the proper tableware and utensils for that specific meal. We will then sit together and serve breakfast family style with the students. Once finished eating the students will sit on the carpet with a book while waiting for everyone to be complete. After all of the students have
finished eating they will put their books away and sit on the edge of the carpet for circle time.

Circle Time
Today we will review the class rules and talk
about our classroom Thanksgiving dinner. We will then sing the days of the week song while updating the calendar. After calendar the class will use the song charts to sing some of our favorite circle time songs. We will then go over our question of the day while introducing new vocabulary words and tapping into our higher order thinking skills. The  letter of the week is Kk, the number is 8, the shape is triangle, and the color is yellow. Today's question is "What do you want to eat on Thanksgiving?"
