                        for Mickey Mouse
M is for Mickey Mouse- To go along with our discussion of the letter M and the sound it makes the children each cut out a large letter M and decorated it to symbolize the character, Mickey Mouse.
N is for numbers
N is for Numbers- To go along with our discussion of the letter N and the sound it makes the children each cut out a large letter N and practiced writing numbers on it.
O is for ornaments
O is for Ornament- To go along with our discussion of the letter O and the sound it makes the children each used a spin art technique to paint their version of an ornament.

p is for presents
P is for Present- To go along with our discussion of the letter P and the sound it makes the children each used collage materials to create their version of a present.

Gingerbread Spice Painting- The children created their version of gingerbread cookies by painting with various spices and then using collage materials to decorate paper gingerbread cookies.

Handprint Lights- The children created a Christmas present for their families by using their painted hands to create Christmas lights. Once the paint was dry the children signed their names at the bottom of the canvas.

Shape Reindeer- Using various shapes the children created their own version of reindeers.

cinnamon dough ornaments
Cinnamon Dough Ornaments- The children made their own ornaments by mixing cinnamon, flour, and salt to make a dough that they then cut out various holiday shapes in.

Painting Ornaments- The children painted their own wooden ornaments that we then put their pictures in.

Reindeer Food- The children made their own bag of reindeer food using oatmeal and green and red sugar.

Tree Ornaments- The children glued three popsicle sticks together to make a tree shape that they then used collage materials to decorate.

Holiday Card Exchange- Our class again took part in a holiday card exchange with 26 other schools around the U.S. including ones from California, Texas, and New York!

Fork Painting Wreaths- The children used forks dipped in paint to create their version of a holiday wreath!

Handprint Candies- The children used their painted hand prints to create their version of a piece of candy.
