I is for Indian Corn- To go along with our
discussion of the letter I and the sounds it
makes, the children cut out corn cobs and lego
painted them various colors to create Indian
corn.

J is for Juggling- To go along with our
discussion of the letter J and the sounds it
makes, the children cut out a large J and
painted red and orange balls for the letter to
"juggle".

Paper Plate Pie- The children created their
version of a piece of pie using a cut up paper
plate, brown paper for the crust, tissue paper
for the filling, and a cotton ball for the
whipped cream. |
K is for Kiwi- To go along with our discussion
of the letter K and the sounds it makes, the
children cut out a large K and turned it into
their version of a kiwi fruit.

L is for Lights- To go along with our discussion
of the letter L and the sounds it makes, the
children cut out a large L and finger painted
various Christmas lights on the letter". |
Handprint Turkeys- The children created turkeys
using their painted hands that were then
displayed at the Giant Eagle grocery store!

Family Portraits- To go along with our family
study the children each drew a portrait of the
family members they live with.
