First Day Handprints- To commemorate the first day of school the children painted their hands and created hand print art.
A is for Apple- To go along with our study of the letter A and the sound it makes, the children cut out and decorated apples.

Apple Orchard Dramatic Play- To go along with our Apple study we turned the kitchen area into an apple orchard! The children are able to act out picking apples, cooking food with apples, and selling apples. Fall Cutting Assessment- The children modeled their cutting skills by cutting on straight, curvy, and zigzag lines.

Fall Sensory Table- To go along with our study of the season of Fall, the children have been interacting with various Fall themed elements in the sensory table including leaves, mushrooms, apples, and pumpkins.
Fire Fork Painting- To go along with our fire safety study the children made fires with forks using red, yellow, and orange paint.

B is for Bus- To go along with our study of the letter B and the sound it makes the children used shapes to make their own school buses.
C is for Cow- To go along with our study of the letter C and the sound it makes the children the children cut out a large letter C and turned it into a cow.

D is for Dinosaur- To go along with our study of the letter D and the sound it makes the children cut out a large letter D and turned it into a dinosaur.
First Letter Collage- Each child cut out the first letter of their name and then decorated it using markers and collage materials.

Handprint Apple Trees- The children created their version of an apple tree by using their painted hand and arm as the trunk and making apples using cotton balls dipped in red paint.
The 5 Senses of Fall- To go along with our Fall study we discussed what are 5 senses feel during the season.
